Riverside Golf Results for w/c May 17th 2026

Some excellent Golf was played by a couple on Sunday the 17th, in the Medley Stableford, which was contested in two Grades.

Nic George smashed out 40 points for his win in A Grade, three in front of Garry Swallow, on 37 points.

It was Gary Van Steenis who took out the round of the day, when he picked up the win in B Grade, after an outstanding 42 points, comfortably in front of Clayton Clifford, with 37 points.

Balls (10) 34 points.

NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Nic Cairns ??, 7th – Gary Van Steenis 69cm and 12th – Kendall Marchment 63cm.

Not to be outdone, Wayne Innes also pulled in a terrific score of 40 points, for a win on Monday, in the Medley Stableford. It was a three way countback for runner up, with Roberto Fuoco using his luck to sneak in over Kendall Marchment and Ashley Innes, all on 37 points.

Balls (4) 37 points.

The Ladies nine hole Stableford on Tuesday saw Sharon Trewin finishing on a lovely 21 points for a nice win. Meg Hamence took out second place, but not before a countback against Lauris Hicks, both on 18 points.

Balls (3) 18 points.

NTP’s – 12th – Suellen Nunan 82cm and 18th – Sharon Trewin 17cm.

The Men’s comp on Wednesday was Stableford, in two Grades.

Malcolm Kalms put his 36 points to good use, notching up an A Grade win, in front of Bill Beckwith, who placed second, after he battled a countback with Shane Searle, both on 35 points.

Tim Donaldson played an exceptional game to win B Grade, to leave with the win, over Tom Wilkinson, on 38 points.

Balls (12) 34 points on a countback.

NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Laurie Riordan 330cm, 7th Kendall Marchment 110cm and Good Deal Tyres  18th – Seb Raiti 310cm.

Roz Nash has a sensational long game, which went along way to her win on Thursday in the Ladies Stableford, with 36 points on a countback. Watch out when her putting takes off Ladies. Heather Klemm missed the win, but picked up second place, from Maree Irvin, after a countback, on 36 points.

Balls (4) 35 points on a countback.

NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Janette Mason 154cm, 7th – Lyn Delmenico 510cm, 12th – Lyn Delmenico 275 and 18th – Heather Klemm 26cm.

Friday’s nine hole Medley Stableford was won by Ricky Loveridge, on a very fine 21 points, and was lucky to jump one ahead of a group of six, who all finished on 20 points. Jayden Fox came out the better in the countback, to be runner up, in front of Anongnuch Ferris, Paul Colbert, Peter Welling, Shane Searle and Gavin Minter.

Balls (14) 18 points on a countback.

Beware the sick Golfer, is the saying, which seemed to be suitable for Janet Luke on Saturday, as she was recovering from a bad cold, but it didn’t restrict her from doing a great job of whacking that little white ball up the Fairways and into the hole. A very beautiful win from Janet, on 42 points, with Adel Dal Corobbo chasing close behind on a nice 40 points.

NTP’s : 7th – Janet Luke 328cm, 12th – Janet Luke 84cm and 18th – Wendy Dawson 49cm.

The Men’s Stableford on Saturday required three Grades, with Larry Cavallaro winning the countback in A Grade, for top spot, over Simon Dale, both on 38 points.

A first rate 42 points from Rocky Pipicella handed him the B Grade win, one up on SV Turaki, with a super 41 points, to collect second place.

Andrew Donaldson was the star of the day, burning his way around the course, for a sizzling 43 points C Grade win, from Jeff Riordan on a pleasing 39 points.

Balls (18) 35 points on a countback.

Simon Dale just missed out on an A Grade win, but he certainly didn’t hold back on the Par five, second hole, with a mighty Eagle.
