Riverside Golf Results for w/c June 7th 2026
It was lovely to have some warmer weather last week, but I suppose it is Winter, so we have to expect a few dreary days.
The Medley Stableford on Sunday the 7th was saw Scott Connelly taking out the A Grade section, after his 38 points. Isaiah Faulkhead came out the better after a countback for runner up, against Jason Milner, both on 37 points.
A remarkable 44 points was the top score in B Grade, which landed Cooper Palazzo with the win, in front of Nino Zappia, who produced a super 40 points.
Balls (14) 35 points on a countback.
NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Ang D’Amico (??), 7th – Ang D’Amico 650cm, 12th – Scott Connelly 493cm and 18th – Michael Wade (??).
The Kings Birthday Drummonds Golf Medley Stableford drew a large field and was played in two Grades.
Roland Tankard finished on 38 points and left with the win in A Grade, over Larry Cavallaro’s 37 points, which left him in second place.
The round of the day went to May Connolly, with a beautiful 40 points and a B Grade win, from runner up, Jed Woodford on 38 points.
Balls (18) 34 points on a countback.
NTP’s : 4th – Chris Curley 415cm, 7th – Roland Tankard 510cm, 12th – Gavin Jackson 85cm and 18th – Nicholas George 235cm.
Suellen Nunan is loving the Tuesday nine hole event for the Ladies, notching up another win, this time on a very nice 21 points, in front of Kaye Ballantyne, with 18 points.
Balls (4) 16 points.
It was Stableford again for the Men on Wednesday and Michael Holcroft would have been pleased with his 39 points and his win in A Grade. Ross Pointon had to battle a little for his second place, when a countback was needed to split him and Garth Doherty, both on 37 points.
The B Grade winner was Steve Rogers, completing his round on 38 points, from Rob Arnold in second place on 37 points.

Thursday was the First round of the Pearl Dobson Match Play Championships, which was played in Two Grades.
A Grade Results :
Caroline James defeated Wendy Dawson 1 up, Tracy Lee defeated Maree Irvin 2 up, Heather Klemm defeated Chitra Rankin 2/1 and Janet Luke went through on a bye. Second round will see Caroline James V Tracy Lee and Heather Klemm V Janet Luke.
B Grade Results :
Linda Dickson defeated Rose Giladi 3/2, Marie Hudak defeated Lyn Thompson 5/4, Lyn Delmenico defeated Selma Mayne 5/4 and May Connolly went through on a bye. Second round will have Linda Dickson V Marie Hudak and Lyn Delmenico V May Connolly.
Warrick Fisher fought out a countback with Gavin Graham on Friday in the nine hole Medley Stableford, with Warrick marking up the win, both on 21 points.
Balls (15) 18 points on a countback.
Saturday was a four person Medley Stableford Waltz, which was 82 players enjoying the game.
The winning team was John Wass, Ray Cottle, Andrew Diwell and Ian Dickason, on a mighty 91 points. Runner up went to Seb Raiti, Steve Wilmann, Simon Dale and Brendan Bower on 87 points.
Balls (20) 86 points.
